3. How We Collect Personal Data
We collect personal data directly from you, automatically from your device when you use the Services, from service providers and technicians involved in a booking, and from third parties such as social-login providers, payment processors, mapping providers, identity-verification providers and business partners.
4. How We Use Personal Data
We may use personal data to:
- Provide the Services: Create and manage accounts; receive and manage bookings; match or broadcast jobs to eligible providers; support navigation and live tracking; enable chat, calling, notifications and job-status updates; process payments, payouts and refunds; and maintain service records.

- Comply with law: Maintain records, respond to lawful requests, meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection, employment, insurance and regulatory obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.
5. Legal Grounds and Consent
We process personal data where necessary to perform a contract with you, take steps at your request, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate business and safety interests, or where you have given consent. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw consent through device settings, the app or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully and may prevent certain features from working.
7. Sale of Personal Data
Fixiyo does not sell personal data for money. We also do not permit service providers to use personal data received from us for their own unrelated advertising purposes.
8. International Data Transfers
Fixiyo may process or store personal data in Malaysia, India and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data-protection laws may differ between countries. Where required, we use contractual, organizational and technical safeguards and take reasonable steps to ensure that transferred data receives appropriate protection.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain booking and warranty records, meet tax and accounting duties, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and comply with law. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. When data is no longer required, we delete, anonymize or securely isolate it.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where supported, logging, backups and vendor controls. No internet or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and one-time codes confidential and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
11. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, withdrawal of consent, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing, and information about how your data is used. You may also opt out of promotional messages and control location, camera, microphone and notification permissions through your device.
To exercise a right, email tecsa.softwaremobile@gmail.com from the contact address associated with your account or use the available in-app privacy controls. We may verify your identity before acting on a request. Some data may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, safety, accounting, dispute resolution or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
12. Facebook Login and Third-Party Accounts
If you use Facebook Login, Fixiyo processes only the Facebook data permitted by you and required for login or account functionality. You may remove Fixiyo from your Facebook settings. To request deletion of data associated with Facebook Login, follow the Fixiyo User Data Deletion Instructions at https://fixiyo.com/data-deletion.
13. Children
The Services are not intended for persons under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly create accounts for children. A parent or legal guardian who believes a child has provided personal data should contact us so we can take appropriate action.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, maps, payment pages or communication tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Fixiyo is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology or the Services. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies, except where fresh consent is legally required.
16. Contact and Complaints
Privacy enquiries, rights requests and complaints may be sent to Tecsa Innovation Sdn Bhd at tecsa.softwaremobile@gmail.com. Please include your name, registered mobile number or email, the nature of your request and enough information for us to identify the relevant account or booking.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority in your jurisdiction, including the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia or the appropriate authority in India, where applicable.
17. Role-Specific Privacy Addendum (Go-Live)
This section clarifies data handling for role-based features that are live in Fixiyo, including customer wallet and rewards programs, technician wallet workflows and service-related push notifications.
17.1 Customer Data (Bookings, Wallet and Rewards Programs)
For customer accounts, Fixiyo may process additional data connected to customer wallet and rewards features, including cashback credits, wallet debits and redemptions, referral participation, loyalty points, campaign benefits, achievement badges, expiry logs and reward-related notifications.
Reward eligibility, thresholds, expiry, reversals, abuse-prevention checks and booking-linked reward calculations are processed to operate customer programs, prevent fraud and maintain accounting and audit records.
Where rewards are tied to a booking or payment event, Fixiyo may store references such as booking ID, payment status, transaction source, reward type and idempotency/audit keys required for correctness and dispute handling.
17.2 Provider and Technician Data (Operations, Payout and Performance)
For provider and technician accounts, Fixiyo may process operational and compliance data including job assignment and acceptance history, service updates, location and route events while active, proof uploads, ratings, quality metrics, payout or wallet transaction records, and fraud/safety review events.
Fixiyo may use this data for dispatching, route tracking, quality assurance, payment settlement, technician/provider wallet operations, complaint resolution, legal compliance, and prevention of unsafe or abusive platform use.
17.3 Push Notifications, Device Tokens and FCM
Fixiyo uses push-notification infrastructure, including Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) where applicable, to deliver service alerts such as booking lifecycle updates, payment reminders, reward credits, referral/loyalty/campaign events, security messages and account notices.
To deliver push alerts, Fixiyo may process device notification tokens, app identifiers, language, platform type, delivery status metadata and notification interaction events (such as opened/read actions).
Users can disable push permissions through device settings, but operational alerts may still be sent through available channels such as in-app inbox, SMS or email where necessary for service completion, safety, security or legal compliance.
17.4 Terms and Conditions Linkage
Customer programs (including cashback, referral, loyalty, campaigns and badges), technician/provider wallet operations, booking payments and payout-related workflows are subject to the Fixiyo Terms of Service, platform rules, anti-fraud controls and any campaign-specific conditions shown in-app.
Where there is a conflict between promotional messaging and binding legal terms, the Fixiyo Terms of Service and mandatory consumer law prevail.
